Hey guys.

I'm planning to open a new car workshop in Doha to give professional car service. Does anyone know a good location or has any advice? I'm thinking of a hall or sth like that of about 200-400sqm in the price range of 25000QR. Best would be if it also has accommodation for about 10-20 employees.

If you have any idea or got some connections to help me out please reply to the post.

Keep Industrial Area as access is shitty and will be for a long time. Get one in Salwa Road that is my advice or in conjunction to a Petrol Station.

location recommendations

doha jadid

near ramada.

Industrial area will be the best option if you plan on offering large scale repairs or extensive (engine overhaul type) services.

Bleu, I beg to differ. There's the garage under the tree close to the National Library. Many expats swear by him!

If you are good you will make a fortune here in Doha - I know a few people who have been in smashes and their cars have come back with more problems than when they went it! Your ideal location is on Salwa road somewhere - there are a lot of car dealerships there. Good luck! And if you manage to do it DEFINITELY post your new business details on here!

You won't be able to do repairs in Doha. Changing oil/batteries, cleaning/finishing would be OK.

sorry,

It has to be in the worst place ever (the industrial area).

You need mega-wasta to open it anywhere in Doha (in a petrol station or otherwise).

Petrol Stations are ideal places. Try to negotiate and sign an agreement with them... Same what Teyseer has done.

Access is #1 - Don't, please, Don't put it in the industrial area

Good Day!!!

Anywhere here in doha is okay and very accessible. Try to check the road way behind the doha clinic,i found one building that are for rent for business and for accomodation also.
