Physical Appearance Problem
I have friend told me that she can't find a good-paying job because employers tend to discriminate - they prefer good-looking persons over those who are not. Her qualifications I think is competitive but I admit she is not that attractive. Do you think a person's looks affect his or her success in the job market? Why? I feel sorry listening to her stories about her frustrations at work and finding a good job.
She can still make herself look attractive without looking physical perfection.
she needs to have faith on herself and present herself with professionalism.
Poverty is not for the sake of hardship. No, it is there because nothing exists but God. Poverty unlocks the door -- what a blessed key!

shouldn't affect the offer of a job, unfortunately some people go on looks alone, am sure these are in the minority, maybe your friend just needs a good dose of self confidence, if a person feels confident and dresses well, this comes over in the interview, I wish them all the best :)
It depends on the position she has applied for which you have not mentioned. In certain fields or industries, Personality, Body Language etc. matter for both men and women alike in the developing world. Not applicable for professionals like Engineers, Doctors etc.
Best wishes to all!
