QP recruitment process

Hi, I'm from Philippines. I was interviewed by QP recruitment team last February 2011, a month ago. Three days after the interview their agency here in Philippines informed me that I passed and send me QP's Offer letter. I already signed their Job Offer and other forms they are asking. After a month of waiting I never heard anything from them...I already sent follow up email to the agency and all they can say is to wait. How long does QP recruitment process take??? I have read from other forums that QP recruitment process takes months of waiting..is that true??? Is there someone here who can give ideas??

NCP - Whas the email from QP or from a recruitment agent?

Hi anyone, I just received an email from QP that I was shorlisted for phone interview. They ask my contact details, interest and location and I replied back.

1 week had passed and I haven`t received any reply or call from them. Does anyone knows if this is normal or do I need to follow-up for the phone interview. I previously worked in Qatar and I want to go back.

Thanks!!

Yes I am from the Philippines, I was not invited for a site interview because they conducted that here in the Philippines, after 5 months of waiting they are now processing my entry visa. In my experience, they send me the offer letter 2 days after the interview. Just wait.... some of my fellow interviewee refuse the offer because it takes a very very very very long time....

Thanks for the reply guys.

I passed my application through their website, http://www.qp.com.qa last year. I got an email from them last january re interview. They have a partner agency, "J", to process the applicants.

I received an email that I passed after 3 days and attached with the email is the job offer and other forms.

So I'm still waiting patiently. I just didnt know that it would take this long and hope its worth it.

just to share my experience, after i have signed my job offer, i've waited more than 5 months before i finally joined ictQatar when i was recruited though i was a direct hired..just be patient but be smart also, i have heard that some agencies tries to replace selected candidates in place of their kins/relatives..i wish not in your case.keep in touch with QP especially with those who interviewed you sending the message that you are waiting..wishing you goodluck.

In this case, you really need to wait because it will take time for the process. Minimum of 3 months. Just make sure all the required documents are completed and submitted to them.

By the way, where is this agency you are referring to?

The QP process does take a long time. My total process from start to finish was about 3 months. The only thing you can do would be to email the HR representative assigned to you.

Generally the recruitment procedure of Government organizations can take time to finish the process. That's because a lot of issues and certainly lots of paperwork have to approved.Getting a work visa alone can take a few months but be patient and eventually, you will be notified if your work visa has been approved by the Labour Ministry INSHA ALLAH.
