I am an experienced Civil Engineer from one of the best colleges in India and also a MBA from Bajaj in Mumbai. Presently working as a Senior Manager - Projects in a PSU Oil major. Recently I got an offer from Qatar Foundation to join as Sr. Civil Supervisor at app. 22000 QR CTC plus paid annual leave with airfare plus medical plus 40000 QR furniture cost.

Will anyone from the field please tell me whether it is a good salary and a good position. They are good employer, I suppose!

Thanks Sush for your info. It seems that you are an Indian and from QF. Can we talk a little so that I can get a little more courage and strength to sail out for an unknown place.

You can send me an e-mail at [email protected]

Thanks again,

Sujit

Thanks TG. Yeah, I am back after some time. Now the visa is also ready. The CTC includes housing and children education allowance. I really like to know the answers to my questions, if possible to take the final decision.

By the way, what is ur profession TG and where do u work?

Do u know how much QP pays to engineers in salary grade 15/16?

Sujit..

Welcome back..I guess we are seeing you after long time..Did the break up of your basic change since last time...???

CTC is not a great indicator..until you advise who is paying for the housing and Education of kids...
