Thanks Guys you have been most helpful, although earlier today i phoned my new employer up and told them Qatar is were i would like to be based, and they say that it's not a problem. I'm not sure which site it will be but i do know it's a L.N.G plant 1 hour from Doha, So can you now give me some info on weather Qatar or Saudi is the place to be. All I'm after is a nice easy life (if there is such a thing) anyway all comments will be gratefully recieved.

Cheers W.W

Well, following site may be helpful, but not close to this one since no forum on the following site:

Well, I have lived there for a year from 2004 till end of 2005. I think if you have great employer then Saudi is the best place to work in the world otherwise opposite.

goodluck,

My brother-in-law lives there with his family. After a period of adjustment they don't seem to think it's that bad.

More difficult for his wife, naturally but she's not doing too bad either.
