Starting a Business in Qatar

Hi,

My wife has Ph.D in Sustainable Architecture from University of Melbourne and has five years of relevant experience in Australia and looking to start a freelance Architectural practice. She is on spouse Visa. What are the requirements to do freelance work two days per week preferred and three days a week is O.K. from time to time? Thanks for your help.

Thanks. The purpose of the question was to the right thing. Whom do we call (Government Department??) for starting a business? By freelance I mean part-time work with some freedom, the objective being delivery of a good local project rather than earn money.

freelance work is illegal in qatar. She either has to be employed by some company or to have an officially registered business.
