Tax Treaty between Qatar and USA
Tax Treaty between Qatar and USA
Dear All
Is there any Tax Treaty between Qatar and USA that requires Qatari companies to provide information to the American Tax Authorities about packages and benefits of American employees working in Qatar for tax calculation/verification purposes.
Please Advice.

Not that I know of, but if the IRS requires you to file a return, you have to do so. Also, if you earn above a certain $$ figure, you are subject to US taxes (this is all I've learned from US friends - consult a tax accountant/attorney for more "real" facts). If you do not do so, the IRS may be able to apply penalties/fines no matter if they receive hard facts - it is usually on you to prove that you didn't receive X compensation+benefits than it is for them to prove that you did. Consult the accountant/attorney.
I think nothing like that.
lol, I don't know for sure, but what I have heard though the grapevine, it's a good idea to work out a system with your Employer to recieve cash or some other under the table payment over the 90000 foreign earned income exemption. I would imagine there are accountants that specialize in expat filings who would be more capable at answering your question and help you find a good area to send your money like the isle of man.
