Unfinished contract but ID Cancelled and so how to enter Qatar?
Hi all, I just need some information. I left a company after serving 8 months of 5 year contract. Now I'm on home country. The company has cancelled my QID but the contract is not cancelled. Is it true that if there is an unfinished contract then I may not be able to enter qatar for the remaining duration of the contract?. Can contract be cancelled whilst being out of Qatar? How do I verify whether the contract is cancelled if the company cancel it now? Feel free to share information as its going to help me. Thank you.

The current rule is Once your QID is canceled, the Contract becomes void. You can exit and come in with a new visa. There is no other issues.

I called Ministry of Labour customer help center. They said if the QID is cancelled, contract is automatically cancelled as they are linked with each other now unlike 2-3 years ago but I know someone in Immigration department he said the same thing as Kiyaz1 said that the contract has to be cancelled separately by the current company PRO. So the information is not clear.
I add one more information to it. I have heard about complete cancellation, there is some fee payable to CID. After paying fee, it is possible to come back on new visa.

Thanks for the comment. I've recently learned from ministry of interiors in Qatar that when the contract of employment is cancelled then the worker receives an SMS from ministry. I didn't receive that SMS when I was in Qatar even though the company PRO claimed to have canceld the contract. I was not in good terms with the PRO because of work related issues and I have doubt that he may have lied.
If the company has cancelled your Qatar ID, the Contract loses its value or importance.
