Hello Friends,

I have a friend who will be working in QATAR by the end of this month. He was only given a business visa by the company and promised to convert it on a working visa after arriving there....Is this thing safe? What would be your advise for this case...They already have an agreement in principle when it comes to salary, etc.

Yes, it's absolutely safe. Business visa is usually valid for 1 month and it will be renewed by the company up to 3 months before the work visa will be issued.

It's OK. In our company also we do the same. It's not a pblm. He can work for the company being business visa.
