22 remarkable achievements during the Qatar World Cup in 2022
The year 2022 in Qatar was all about the World Cup. Voted ‘Best World Cup this century’ in a BBC Sport survey, football’s largest sporting championship in Qatar undoubtedly left a mark on visitors from around the world.

(9) Remarkably, this is the first FIFA World Cup™ to be held in the Middle East and the Arab World.
