Does anyone have any experience of buying a property in the Phillipines? Just interested to find out starting price for a holiday home, or plot of land for development? Most interested in Palawan.

-bank acquired properties on sale - bank foreclosed properties

-you can also contact a local real estate broker / agent to help you find your desired property

-you might want to check www.cathaylandinc.com (it's not in Palawan though)

When you say "Local Bank acquired properties" what does this mean? Is it repossesion properties aquired by the bank?

there are so many available space (house, lot, resorts) in the philippines. You can easily check it on the internet for real state company's. But i think it will a problem for you. as ive understand in your login name your not a filipino. Coz the law in the philippines doesn't allow any foreign national to own a land or property in the philippnes. Foreigners must have a filipino husband or wife in order for them to buy the property. One of my cousin who is married to a japanese national buy a property in the philippines in preparation for their retirement but the property is named after my cousin coz she's a filipino national.
