Debt

I had to leave qatar and I left a small debt... (15.000 ryals).

Will I have problems in Austria because of that?

Please don't make me waste time with moral issues.... I had no chance.

Thank you.

Yes I tried that but my phone number is not registered in qatar so I couldn't do it through that... I had to be there in order to associate the phone number with my qatari ID...

Thanks guys.

Does any one know if it is possible for me to sell my car without being physically there?

I already have a buyer but it just seems that it's very difficult process...

coxtown: Yes, to a person who is earning 30K it may appear a "small amount." To a person who earns 5K, it's his three months wages.

If you are selling your Car, both seller and buyer must be presented at traffic department for transferring of ownership. If you have Debt in Qatar no problem you can go every corner of the world except GCC, they might catch you.

Thanks for the reply guys.

I know that I could repay it but I also have a car around there and a buyer for my car. I send there a car sell declaration authenticated from the qatar embassy in order to sell the car and pay the debt but the buyer can't put the car on to his name... is ridiculous.

I also asked help to the guy from the bank and he suggested for the buyer to go to a car stand that they could help in the process but apparently they can't do that without me being physically in Qatar...

No matter, its a very, very small debt what you had left.

You could still repay the debt if you wanted to.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll have no problem if you clear the visa processing
