Why can't I increase my car loan monthly payments?!

I am truly puzzled with QNB...!

I requested to alter my monthly payment programme for a car I purchased last year.
I decided to increase the monthly payments by 1,000 QAR so that I can decrease the interest rate and pay for the car earlier.

a QNB customer service staff told me this cannot be done!
He said I can only pay cash a certain amount to cover this loan account and the interest rate would be decreased accordingly.

Is this a limited condition that QNB applies or is it also applicable in other banks.

What puzzles me most about QNB is that some customer service staff give me an answer and then I find out that they are wrong through other people. This is why I am asking.

I am not sure why they refused.. But in some cases they not allowed to cut up to 50 or 60 % of your whole salary.. Maybe u r one of those cases

Anyway.. Try to talk to his Boss or any senior person there.
