Am i the only teenager who thinks Qatar is really boring?

There's nothing to do here. Everything gets old quickly. even simple shit like getting a part-time job or going somewhere on foot are complicated here. It's so difficult to meet people my age, and i can't find anything productive to fill my spare time up with.

i feel sorry for you'll lot. If your so bored go pick another country to stay at.

There are enough malls and clubs to run around at to try and find new people - if required.

I was brought up in doha, the only place avaliable during then to hang out with was CENTER AND PIZZA HUT - now thats boring.

I will sound obnoxiously rude here- but seriously you'll need to try and adapt if you cant blend in well. Qatar has changed way too fast - it really does not need to change too much .. it will loose its value

I know my nephews in another GCC country have felt the same way. However, (partly because of their IB requirements) they found that volunteering could be fulfilling both scholastically and personally. One volunteered with a local animal shelter (cleaning cages, walking dogs, playing with cats, etc), another did work with environmental efforts. So there are options, sometimes you have to look for them, sometimes you have to come up with them yourself.

Think about what's going on around you every day - what can you do to make your world, circle of acquaintances or a complete stranger's experience a little bit better (doesn't have to be a lot to make a big difference).

Good luck.
