Camera on Signals - How it works?
Hello All,
Could anyone explain how camera work on the signal and evaluate my scenario? Is that okay to cross if the light turns yellow or last blink of flashing green while you are entering ( i did not enter because toyota roundabaout is kind of longer than the other signals and light will be red if you enter on yellow befor you complete your turn)
I was coming towards c ring round (toyota signal from airport and wanted to make left on c-ring to go towards Ramada. By the time i get to the light it was flashig green and turns yellow and to be safe i braked but due to the reason the rear vehicle was fast and could hit me i end up stopping the car on pedestrian crossing line of the signal (all the lines were under my car but i did not enter into the intersection. I did not see any flash and when the signal turned green I started and no flash also. It was drak around 30 minutes after sunset.
Please comment as I do not know how these signal camera work?

simply u can log on to www.moi.gov.qa and check traffic fines it show u there is u r fined or not .
and traffic signals work only after it become red even on yellow if u pass it will not flash but dont take that risk always.
There are two flashes in a road radars. You should take note that the second flash determines your distance from the first flash. from there, traffic department knows if you did stopped.

The camera works when u cross the lining which r drawn near to the pedestrian crossing whensoever u cross them when the signal is red the flash will appear so u passed these linings when the signal was yellow so u r out of it :D.Let me show u the lines

If ur back wheels passes through the fast lining u will b out of danger but beware of the second 1ining u should keep ur back wheels in ur control otherwise pay the fine :P
there is no roundabout on Toyota signal.
... cameras work when someone crosses the signal on red light. simple.
since you didn't cross the signal, and didn't see the flash, i don't quite understand what's the problem?
