Can I rent an appartment while I am on a visit/business visa?

Hi,

I've been in Qatar for 3 weeks on a visit visa. I stay at a hotel Appartment. I've been deputed here due to business requirements.

Am I permitted to rent an appartment or move into sharing accomodation legally? My company may apply for a residnce permit only after 3 months. Till such time I will have only a visit visa. I have a Bahrain Residence Visa.

Please advice.

most of flats' owners ask 12 signed cheques from tenants as guarantee of payment.

banks do not issue cheques even you can have a account opened in any bank without submitting residency permit card.

therefore, you can not rent appartments without having RP

please double chexk these information from any trusted source
