Be careful after taking car on rent. Any scratch or damage will attract heavy fine at the time of returning.
Even fuel level at the time of returning is also checked.
Avis car will give you car on rent provided you have Qatari licence since one year.
One of my friend has paid 20,000 riyal for damage during water flooding in car and engine damage due to rain.
So my friend think twice before you bring rented car.
I'm looking for TIDA or Honda CITY/CIVIC I think those are only the budget cars.

you could get rental cars for 1500 QR per month which I think is cheap
