MY CAR ISTIMARA RENEWED TODAY AND TRAFFIC DEPT ASKING ME DIRECTLY TO GO DUHAIL.

PLEASE HELP ME WHETHER WE NEED TO GO FOR FIRST REGISTERING FOR THE NUMBER PLATE OR CAN WE GO AFTER A WEEK TIME OR CAN WE GO AFTER RECEIVING MESSAGE FROM METRASH??????.

THE DOUBT IS THAT TRAFFIC DEPT ASKED ME WHILE RENEWING THE CARD, WHY I DIDNT CHANGE LAST YEAR?

LAST YEAR THE VEHICLE WAS NOT WITH ME. I BOUGHT THIS JUST BEFORE A MONTH.

KINDLY ADVISE WHAT TO DO ??

Friend,Now you want to pay QR200 for new number plate,go with your vehicle to madina khalifa number plate sec and pay the fine Qr 200 and get the number plate with in 2 days or wait of sms

BUT I HEARD ALREADY ONE YEAR OVER FOR ALL REGSITRATION PLATE

SO POLICE STARTED ASKING OF NOT CHANGING THE NUMBER PLATES AND THEY MAY LEVY SOME FINE ON IT.

Once your car registeration is renewed they will ask you to go to duhail co'z only in that place they will replace your plate number. if you are registered to metrash better wait for the SMS. I renew my registeration last october 2012 and they told me to go to duhail after 2 weeks. I went their every 2 weeks (3 times) and my cousin told me to just wait for the SMS and only last week I received from metrash a SMS.
