hi all, i've recently notice that on an advertisement board on the streets, its showing pictures of someone that doing ilegal carwashing. is anyone knows anything related to this thing ( rules, fines)? coz i,ve been doing car washing at home for years w/o knowing any rules.

I saw the Advertisement in the Street regarding the Car wash and my understand is dont use potable water (Drinking water)to clean the car.

Question makes perfect sense....

As stated above, washing the car with a hose pipe is not allowed due to water wastage.

Just don't get caught ;-)

Yes, it is now illegal to wash your car or water your garden using a hose water.

This became effective 22 days ago (march 1, 2010)

It's not illegal to wash your own car, it's illegal to wash your own car with a hose pipe due to the amount of wasted water.
