As many people know in several industries here in Qatar, Qatar standards and customs have strict rules and regulations regarding the import of goods in Qatar. This is I am told it is stop counterfeit goods, to protect trademark brands and to insure the products have been properly tested for environmental and safety standards. Soon will cometh the Dragon Mart here in Doha in the industrial area full of products made in China. If this Dragon Mart will be anything like the one in Dubai, How does the Qatar Standards office intend on regulating these counterfeit and cheap goods?
