Cost of Living for a Couple

Hello there,
I would like to know about the cost of living in Doha,Qatar.I would like to know about the expenses for a couple and also for a bachelor.We have a normal life style.
I might get a pay above 10,000 per month and my wife will be looking for work as well.

1)rent--studio or single bed room- furnished
2)Food-Cooked
3) Bills-internet, water, electricity, gas
4)travel
4.a Car-for rent and for buying, other related expenses.
4.b public transport-what are the modes available and how much it cost.

Hi Every one,

I am from India, I am going to come to Qatar by the end of next week on 3 months visit visa. Could you please let me know about the Computer/IT jobs in Qatar.How is the responses from the employers and as a fresher would I be able to get the job in these 3 months.

Could you please let me no the accommodations in Doha Qatar because I don't no any body in Qatar.

Could you please let me no how much minimum salary I would get according to my qualification.I have done post graduation from one of the reputed university in UK in IT Field.

Could you please let me no about the food expenses and traveling expenses in Doha Qatar.

Hi Dear, Sorry for answering you late, i was busy before, ya Near to TV round about, i got information you need to pay 2500 for a room and flat is 3500 its of two bed room set, and its avialble all the time.once you r in doha you can manage, first you come alone here and later on you can call your family, it will be fine, you r welcome to Doha.

1)rent--studio or single bed room- furnished - approx 4500-5000. Although if you're lucky, you cud get a 1 bedroom unfurnished for 3000-3500

2)Food-Cooked - depends from where you order. If you asking about groceries, it's gonna be approx 1000 for a couple.

3) Bills-internet, water, electricity, gas - approx 500

4.a Car-for rent and for buying, other related expenses - approx 1300-1500 (not a luxury car)

4.b public transport-what are the modes available and how much it cost. - taxis (can be a bit expensive) and buses (not advisable)

Can you advise the cost of rent specially in

Bin Omran area ,or near TV Roundabout and what can be

the expense for a bachelor , or a family with a kid .

dont pay 1800 qr per month for a RENTED car.. go buy a coupe and chill with yo girl !

1) For a Decent Appartment 3000 -3500 QRS (Unfurnished)

Furnishing will cost extra (Expected -6000 -9000)

2) Cooked food if you r alone then it will be Maximum 1000QR.

If u are with family for normal life styile - 1500 Qrs

3. Water, Electricity, ADSL -400

4) Renting a Car will be in the range of 1250 to 1800

5) Owing a Car EMI for Nissan TIDA for 5 years will be 1350, Corolla for Qrs 1400 PM for 5 years loan

1.Single bed Room or with your wife it will cost you 2500QR.

2.Cooked food if you r alone then it will be Maximum 1000QR.

3.Total will cost you 500QR Gas is 15Qr only.

4. travel is costly here as everytime you go in Karwa that means 25 to 30QR. one side so its batter to have own rental car which is cheaper, you will get car for 1800QR per month Honda City.

4, Mode of transport is Bus, Karwa taxi and private taxi also. Rest you can Enjoy with your money.This is minimum Expense you can do rest if you want you can spend 10,000 in one day also. have a nice time,
