Beer is Qr 40....in a bar... Its a good example of the cost of living in this Country!!!

I am thinking of living on dates and fish only to save money . These are at least fairly free and readily available. As for rent this is only payable in winter as other months a house is unnecessary expense.

But I have found a cheaper gin so that may come down soon!

all mine goes into booze and rent. now thinking of giving up renting.

As mentioned by our friends above there are certain factors to determin the cost of living.

If you are planning to have sharing accommodation with your Nationals it is going to be cheaper but if you are looking for a standard sharing accommodation (single room) then it will be arround Qr. 2000 plus food and other expenses - Approx. Qr. 3500.

2000/month booze

300/month taxis (due to booze)

500/food

As Drmana says, it depends on your lifestyle. I go out a lot for fine dining and wining. You might stay in and live pot noodles.

There are many factors which determine the cost of living like number of people in family, lifestyle etc.
