go for what u feel confident at bro..

i am driving my car daily to NORTH QATAR (AFTER AL KHOR)

and no problem at all.. just u will feel it is 2 long in the first week only..

but my advice is to live near ur wife work..

my advice is not to let your wife to drive the freeway expecially at night..

regards..

of course doha, if ur wife will also work in banking which mainly do their business in doha. ask QG to provide an accommodation at nearest place possible like West bay Lagoon. u can hire a driver if u feel impossible to drive all the way & back. some people w/ same problem, hire one of contractor who work in the same company w/ him, they arrange everything to make it work. many contract labor are willing to do that for extra 500/mth to their salary (or to be ur friend at least :-). it is unwise to let ur wife drive that far, morning & evening

Definitely Al Khor. It is a lot easier traveling from Al Khor to Doha in the Morning(for the Wife) than from Doha to Ras LAffan.

I've done the Doha - Ras Laffan trip for a year . Now resides in Al Khor(for over 2 years) and Wife travels to Doha. She says it is not a problem at all.

im also working in ras laffan and i would sujjest to get the hosue in alkhore because if ur living in alkhore u will be relax than doha because u will be near to ur working place and even u will save 2 hours daily which u can spend with ur family and other than that u will be relax and as u know that in between alkhore and doha the accident ratio is too high because the qatari peoples are driving very fast so in keeping view of above all my sujjestion is alkhore

I would go Doha for you wife and kids sake. It's really not so bad travelling to Al Khor daily and lots of people do it.
