I was granted a family status visa and planned to bring my wife here just for 1 month vacation.the thing is the company will give my family allowance as long as i can bring my wife, but what will happen after her vacation.

For what i know, there is this thing that my wife needs to be back here within 6months of her visa for renewal or else visa will be canceled.

Please anyone assist me in this.

Thanks.

apparently you need you wife to get a residence visa..

for that it is true that if she did not come back within six months the residence permit is going to be canceled..

to apply for a residence visa for your wife.. you need several documents such as

- your original passport

- your Qatari ID.

- your attested educational certificate (original).

- attested marrige certificate (original).

- copy of her passport.

- Her photo.

- 400 QR

- and an application that the ministry of foregin affairs would give to you to fill, or they will fill it to you for 10 QR.

after applying the visa, and when your wife comes, you will have to take her to make finger prints, medical examination and blood type within one week from her arrival.

after that you get her residence permit stamped on her passport and you get her Qatari Id. she can leave after that but she must be back within 6 months, or you will have to go through the whole process again.
