How will Qatar Living surfers deal wid new site called Qatarshub.com?

Hopefully the mod of Qatar Living will bear it wid me that on 09/09/09, the new interactive site called Qatarshub.com has been launched,so it means more information, more choices available, and the communities in Qatar having more interaction wid each other on day to day matters. Hope that it will be taken as a gesture of prevailance of positive competition, resulting in working for the benefit of the communities in Qatar.

Well actually I've been at QHub for a while now, I received an invite for the Beta launch, and It's actually not that bad. Except for the fact that they don't have much users so far, they offer some nice features. I for one hope that their will be some competition (like with Qtel & Vodafone) coz that would mean we (the users) will get the best of both worlds!!
So good luck to QL, and kudos for QHub for entering the competition!
P.S: The post about the rankings isn't quite right coz it's measured by Traffic & not by users. But I do agree with you that they've got a looong way to go to prove themselves.
So, it's been only 4 days for QatarsHub.com on the web... am sure it will make it up to the top of the ladder with time, closer to Qatar Living. it's similar to QL but it's got some nice entertaining video's and stuff too, and some live news running on top, since it's backed by Al-Watan Newspaper and Qatar Tribune.
Anyway, am sure QL users AND moderators are happy and feeling challenged to see a new competitor out there.. afterall qatar's space has room for more than QL

it wont effect QL at all coz few months ago one more site like QL was launched "QS". the site do attracted sum QLers there but after a few day (not even weeks) those sum of those members came back to ql.

chck these out..... qatarshub ranks 1,082,362 while qatarliving ranks 9,432
QL is nrly 114 times ahead...so even if a 1000 members move to tht website it would be like a drop less from an ocean for QL
