it depends to your life style...

if you are a home buddy type then Qatar is your place..but if you would like life like in vegas..then Qatar is not your proper place...

Well, actually all people (I am talking about expats) for money and carrier. There is not much to do here in Doha. Do not have high expectations. There are 3 big malls City Center, Vilaggio and LandMark (someone can correct if I am wrong) and its a small country. You will not find so much green. You will not find different type of entertainment to have fun. But as others said if you meet people and hang with them you can still spend your days here in a good way.

Good luck.

unfortunately you are going to experience a drastic change in your lifestyle...BUT whether change is good or bad depends on the person.

culture..faith..availability of some "necessities" are a bit hard in qatar.

GOOD LUCK!

If you make new friends easily, I think you will love it. My daughter came to Doha as a senior in high school and had been in the same schools with all her friends for eleven years, but came here and met wonderful friends from all over the world. She's back in Texas but has traveled to Canada to visit a friend that she graduated with in Doha. You will learn about other cultures and the experience will be a chance of a lifetime. Tons of shopping, coffee houses, restaurants, and yes, sports too. Good luck!

It all depends on how you would take it. Der r entertainment centers around Qatar as well as Malls that holds on to all the gaint brands u wud possibly know off. And well... frankly, it wud depend on u when u speak abt how gud one place can be. Best advice is 2 hold on to friends out here and i bet you would enjoi ur time in Qatar. B/w... Welcome to Qatar
