dude, first of all was the guy who put the case on you a qatari?..

even if he is,did he actually tell the cops(in his statement) that you tried to attack him with the cutter..i hope your statement clearly says that its something from your workplace n that it fell from ur pocket..you/he can argue that in frnt of the judge whn they ask you..the middlefinger they dont like here....,looking at the bail amount you put up,3000rials..i guess they(the public prosecution) have left it to the judge at court to decide ur punishment..

But i think if you do make it clear when ur called to court again,n asked to speak try n impress on the judge the fact that u dint actually attack him,.

I'm hoping they let you off with the bail amount as a fine..cos basically in the end its your word against his..(any witnesses?)..also remember that if you feel the judgement is harsh, you have the right to appeal the verdict..(check with a better source than me)but i think its possible..All the best..Hope its a light punishment if ur crime is just the middle finger..LOL..

There is no other way out but for your to keep an open mind and think positive. You still have over a month to prepare yourself for any decision that the court may grant on your case. If you have to appear on court, then get a lawyer to help you defend your case; ask for any help from the embassy, and tell your family to prepare money for bail that might be required to settle your case.

It's all a traffic case? In that case you'll probably just get fined and maybe your license pulled. If you used the box cutter to threaten the other driver and are being charged with assault, you should get a lawyer.

What on earth is "shamefully doing"?

And did you actually assault someone?
