Well, if you're working in an open space and pregnant (but didn't get the chance to announce it yet as boss is out of town), how could you survive 6 working hours without food or water?
WEll, I guess you do have a break during the working hours and most of the time, there are at least 2 people working together. So, excuse yourself during the break and find a suitable place to have a bite.
I owe you all a clarification: right where I work, they will lock all pantries and cafeterias during Ramadan. the only non-public descrete place I can eat in is actually the toilets!! and imagine a pregnant woman with morning sickness doing that, yukk!!
I am surrounded by muslim colleagues whom I respect and do not wish to alter their fasting in any way, and I DO think they will mind if they see me munching at my work station!
The atmosphere inhere is somewhat very conservative and I don't want to be misunderstood..
It would be nice if u packed some lunch & eat discreetly. It doesnt make sense though that people have to hide to eat because fasting should be personal innitiative. Its re checking your personal life with God. if u successfully do without food and focus on God, i guess the reward is even bigger.
Go drink and eat discretely...those who area in fasting knows where not to go i.e., kitchen, pantry, etc. Then you can go to your office Pantry/Kitchen and close the door. Eat/drink a little there. They understand non-Muslim people...Just take care of your baby..!
If u r non Muslim, u r not expected to fast during Ramadan,
all what is expected from u and all our non Muslim friends is not to eat or drink in public, in ur situation u can always eat or drink in private at ur work place where the people who are fasting do not go during the fasting hours i.e before Adhan of Maghreb (sunset), all the best
your question not more clear to me, if you are non-muslim and pregnant, you have nothing to do during Ramdan, just keep your diet as you planned.
just need avoid to eat infront of who is in fasting.
if your question is for muslim pregnant females, its depend on her health, if she could aford could do fasting otherwise have relaxation to skip fasting.
yeah the replace ment is right ...i am a muslim women n i am goint to fast...but i will keep eating n drinking normally at work...offcourse not infront of my coleagues..but discreetly....i thnk people they now n they understand this ...and here we are talking about non muslims...so .....
I don't think that you can eat or drink during working hours in any way not just because it is Ramadan ! Usually if you want to eat there is small kitchen or cafeteria so you can do it there . Non one of muslims will argue or talk with you if you are not fasting it is not your holy month , but people that they are not muslims from respect they don't eat in-front of muslims.Thats all and it is not point that you are pregnant or not it is just respect to don't eat and drink in-front of others.
By the way even pregnant woman can fast , so it is not obligation
AFAIK senior citizens, little boys and girls , and pregnant womens are likely exempted from fasting during the Ramadan season. Let's just wait for our muslim brothers to confirm my reply.

If ur non-muslim whats the problem u can est and drink
as usual.
But the problem is u should not eat in front of people
who are fasting.
Conditions apply only for Muslim ladies and children, if
they's sick.
I hope u understood my point.

Cheers,
just avoid drinking or eating in public... do it discretely, thats all that is expected of you...
Besides, even if you did have some water... doubt if your Muslim colleagues would hold it against you...
that's is not good for you
and for your future baby
be carefull, you should be eat
regularly...take care
