Iam trying to forget this incident and world cup 2006..The world cup in which france has reached the final only and only beacuse of zidane's outstanding individual performance .The team which no one predicted to move to next stage from group stages due to their poor starts to the world cup finals.He single handedly took the french team to quarter finals from the group stages with cruicial wins,knocking down the giant brazil in the SFs and finally the deserving champions has to lose to italians in a penalty shoot out!! ha..it was sooooo heartbreaking to see zidane go in the finals getting red card and france (10 men) losing to italy in penalty shoot out ..But this statue is making people like me (fans of zidane and france) so much disturbed and wish the statue to be removed fro corniche!!! Thank You..
