JOB OFFER

Dears,

I've received a proposal for a Commercial Project Administrator, the all package (salary + all allowances) it's around QAR 17K plus one round trip once a year to my country to me and my wife and until 3 basic salaries performance bonus per year.
I have some questions:

1 - Is this a avarage salary for this position (I'm post graduate and have around 7 years of experience, 4 in Finance and 3 in projects)?

2 - Can anyone send a split cost list for basic things (flat with 2 BD, groceries, eletricity, water, internet, cable tv, car loans, basic leisure as movies, parks, theater, etc)

Many thanks in advance...

2 b/r will be min. 8K. Groceries, upto 2K...car 2K, so you'll be saving like 3K a month. See if this is worth it...good luck!

Please don't come if accomodation is not provided. All your QR17000 will be burnt into it.

Have you done a search around QL?

These questions have been answered time and again and the people who have advised before may not read all the threads all the time, and may have missed yours.

Sorry, I can't advise you here as I don't know any better... but did think your salary was a little low considering your qualifications and nationality BUT I could be wrong, as times are difficult and jobs are hard to come by and competition (qualification & experience wise) is extremely stiff, also depending on the industry, etc. esp. in the aftermath of the recent financial crisis.

If your QR17k was your basic only, maybe ok but since plus allowances - think the accommodation (the worst budget buster) and high cost of living (esp. if you and family are used to a better quality of life eg. foodstuff) then you might have a problem.

All the best to you in your search for answers.

the salary offer is very low considering your qualifications ,experience and nationality.try to negiotate for a better one plus perks.you must consider that the cost of living in doha is expensive particularly on house rentals,etc.etc. good luck..
