I am getting offer from one of consultant for ERP Project Manager they are offering 10,800 per month QRA + Housing for family and Transportation.

Is that good deal? I have 13 years of IT experience and Computer Engineer. I am working one of 3rd Leading IT company in India as ERP Programme Manager.

Can I save some money if I bring my family wife and 2 year kid in this package? Please respond. Shall I take this offer?

Hello,

Considernig your experience the offer made is very less. Even if it includes Houosing & Transportation, pls note that the other factors contributing for cost of living are too high. Specially the medical needs & schooling needs for your child.

So my suggestion is either you negotiate till around 20K or just drop it.

For more details you can write to me at [email protected]

You havent mentioned your kids age and if they require schooling. In 10,800 you will have to include Schooling - 1500 QR pm for Indian Schools, Groceris - 2000 QR, Utilities - 500 QR, Car loan - 1500 QR(for 1 car) Kids transportation - 800 QR, Car for wife (optionsl) 1000 QR, Entertainment/Eating out/Movies -1000 QR, Since you havent mentioned anything of Medical Insurance - Govt Health is almost Free but private Hospitals charge around 150 to 300 QR per visit per person. The choice is yours.

Well to be honest…..not a good offer.. for a 13 yrs experienced person.

are they providing you a transportation allowance or a car? if not 2500 will go for car either hire or monthly installment.living cost will be 4000 to 5000...

You cannot save much..unless your wife also works...which is not a good option as you have a 2yr old kid. Try to negotiate your salary...settle for minimum 15,000/- otherwise it’s not worth
