Looking for a real estate website for a villa

I am looking to purchase a 5-6bd room Villa in Qatar. Problem is I currently live in the United States and have lived in the states for most of my life. I am Qatari originally.

My question, is do any of you guys (or girls) know of a website that shows villa's that are for sale. I did a search online and found century21, remax, and etc.

What area are nice to live in? I was thinking maybe around Qatar Decoration circle. Can any of you suggest an area to where I can get the best deal for the house.

Also I hear Real Estate prices have been dropping? Is this true? If so, by how much?

Ya, I have seen the Westbay area. Not really looking for something too fancy in a villa. If I am not mistaken Westbay is next to Lusail, near the Ritz?

I wouldnt mind living near Qatar Decorations circle, as most of my relatives are in that area.

We are also looking to buy a house and I recommend you stay away from the English language sites. They are basically geared for the expat community and in areas where only expats can buy. According to my husband the best source is the supplement section of Al Sharq newspaper. The prices of the houses have not really dropped as yet, though the price of the land has come down. According to the last figures land per sq meter is Qr 300.- in Al Waab, QR 200.- in Mamoura and QR 750/1000.- in Bin Mahmoud.

Dont know about the prices of the other areas. Sorry, but this should give you an idea.

Nice areas to live are Westbay but very overpriced at the moment, Al Waab for villas is also good location

Regarding rental prices are currently dropping and has been confirmed as follows to be 10-15% in the first quarter of this year
