Maid's salary payment record
I have a maid on my visa. I pay her salary in cash as she does not have a bank account.
Question is, do I need to keep a written record of the salary that I am paying? Should I get a receipt or have her sign for the salary receipt?
How are people normally paying their maids here in Qatar? In case of cash payments, what if maid denies later that she ever got paid?
It's simple, just create a logbook, stating the date paid, amount, the particulars and her signature.

Better to keep a record, singed with fingerprint of the maid. At least, we do like this.
Yes, it's always better to keep a written record.. A receipt with the amount paid and the month paid should do with her signature on it..
