hi, we're moving to dubai. is it worth bringing our cars over?

we have a 2007 mazda 3 and a 2008 nissan pathfinder (purchased in 2009 - only 25,000 kms). we were thinking of driving the nissan over and hopefully having my new company stick the mazda in the 2o ft container they are paying for. so, hopefully no shipping cost.

if we do have to pay shipping then we'll sell the mazda and import the nissan only

i know there is 5% duty in UAE - is this on market rate or based on purchase price?

if anyone knows about this process, can you tell me if it is more trouble than it is worth importing them? just wondering if we should sell here and buy again in dubai.
