New mover into Doha, what should I know?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this hoping someone can help me out with advice.
I'm a junior corporate lawyer due to rellocate to Doha in September. I've been offered a package which I'm not sure to make of it's c.£70k a year with my flights paid for and allowance for a car, but NOT accommodation.
What is accom like in Qatar on a furnished basis? Also on a more general basis what is the cost of living like given that I was also looking to save some of my income?
Finally, my wife may be moving out next year, she is a junior doctor, is there anyone who can help with regards to what the training structure is like for UK medics out here and also salary expectations and job opportunities etc?

I can help you with the accomodation bit. A 3 bedroom villa will cost you anything between 9K - 12K a month. If you go for furnished apartments, a 3 bedroom one will be in the range of 8.5K - 10K a month... and I'm talking QAR's.
