Nissan vs Toyota resale
Since we pay no down payment on a car essentially the only cost we have is the difference between what it will cost us and what it will sell for.
Based on Value I am thinking of a Nissan Armada. It has everything at 175K with a V8 that a Land cruiser has at much more.
Some people tell me Nissan is as good at resale as Toyota. To test this theory I went to Salwa road car showrooms and more then 80% of the cars for sale were Land Cruisers!!! Based on what I saw even a Prado V6 (my second choice) may not be a smart choice.
So if anyone can share their experiences on Toyota and Nissan SUV resale values I owuld be grateful Are they same or is Toyota significantly better? Does it take same amount of time to sell them or is Toyota far quicker?
lp, you can complain over the bad costumer service but cant in lieu of availability of spareparts of the above said cars!
All car dealers have expensive after sales service as well.
All cars have very bad service in Qatar!
Plus toyota has very bad service here in qatar and expensive
i agree with the first comment
but after all it depends on the buyer himself"you"
my choice is TOYOTA.....
toyata is better
resale value of Toyota is higher than Nissan, but i still like nissan
From my point of view.
The Nissan Armada is a vehicle that cannot be compared the mighty Toyota Land Cruiser. Out of every 10 cars on the streets 6 are Land cruiser, which has many reasons why the car is so preferred in Doha.
Armada according to me is a good vehicle for women, who are slow drivers, careful all the time, and who carry kids at the back seat. Since the structure of Armada is really strong and heavy its a safe vehicle with lots of gadgets that family and kids like.
However the land cruiser is not far from those either. Land cruiser has a simple and not so complicated engine and engine compartment. This car can be modified easily and all sorts of accessories are available in the local market.
The reason for seeing so many cars @ Salwa Road is becoz of the flourishing black market sales from Oman. Land cruiser is cheaper in Oman. And Qataries are not far from upgrading from a 2008 to 2009 to 2010 models. Al thought them being all the same.
In re-sale any make of Toyota beats all the cars in Qatar. Nissan Aramada might look like a flight cockpit but has failed to prove its off road capabilities due to its super heavy structure.
I advise for a Land Cruiser anyday & anytime
Good Luck
Stick to Toyota, Armada has one of the worst resale value in the market.Toyota= Gold.
i think toyota is better
bad aftersales service:-(
good market and resale------ TOYOTA
strenght and ruggedness--------NISSAN
