Notice of Leaving the Country for Good
Our Finance Controller, being a congenital power-tripping freak would like to publish a "Notice of Leaving the Country for Good" on Gulf Times against an employee who has not done anything wrong. Can he do it as he please since he's one of the signatories in our computer card? Is there any other way the employee can oppose the publication? Does Gulf Times ask for a valid reason or grounds why such notice will be published? It's really unfair for him as he has not done anything wrong.
Your opinion will be appreciated.
Thank you for the replies. We observed that these notices are for those who either absconded from or terminated by their companies and for him to be one of them is really uncomfortable.
If they have done nothing wrong, where is the problem ? Thought it was just to allow people the oportunity to get loans etc paid before leaving. If someone wants to post it, then the only reason for objection could surely be that people that are owed money or have had a crime committed against them would see the photo, if they have done nothing wrong it won't matter.
this is the standard practice, wheather done something or not, there is nothing wrong in that, so just go and request for not to put, otherwise also it is okay. because they want to makesure that nothing can be claimed against that person after his exit from the company and country, they will ensure safety of their company,
