Qatar Rent
I may be a naive, but clearly their is an excess in flats and apartments now in Doha and till now the rent fees are way too high. Checking www.qatarliving.com classifieds every day, and if u check how many adds are their every day u will be surprised each day just for flats i found more then 10 pages. So, I believe that the rent should go down and maybe their is still some people that are living in the old good days where they used to put the price they want instead of what it really deserve.
Do u believe the the rent in Qatar will go down or their will be some people that will fight for that?
There is a fall. You have to look around to see a change. I can much better apartment in the same price which I am paying for my current apartment. 2 Bedroom can be found in 6~7K which was not possible before.
rent going down is a hot talk since 2006.. ppl said after the asian games rents would be slashed to bottom.. what happend it kept increasing. till date no fall..... may be no further rise, but couldnt see fall...
can u tell me where this place is.I am searching for an appartment
Same thing happened in Dubai. 6-months ago rents were sky high and landlords demanded a full year's rent payment in advance. In the past 3 months, rents are down 30%-40% and continue to drop as expats leave and another 30,000 new units come on the market this year. While I don't think Doha will have nearly the excess supply problems of Dubai, there seem to be many 1000's of new units coming onto the market in Doha over the next 3-6 months especially in West Bay and the Pearl. Rents will drop, no doubt about it.
Funny, there is no maintenance, no proper facility available and still the landlords dare to increase the rent. In one of the flat, in my building, sewage water has swept into bedroom wall. Pathetic, and it is a two year old building. When the tenant in this flat left it was occupied, within 2 days. People are willing to pay, anyways.
IT IS A DAY DREAM ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AFTER ASIA GAMES WE R HEARING THIS NEWS, RENT WILL COME DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! YES DEFINETELY IT WILL COME DOWN BUT IN DREAMS ONLY.
Wishful thinking. Mine increased by QR.1500/-
I see some changes already. you can see few posting of 2 bdroom flats for 7k in the news paper which was not the case before.
Also, for the flats which is currently rented out, the land owners will be very reluctant to bring the rent down. people can't beleive the notion that prices can actually come down.
But new flats, I've visited few already and see they are getting lower, gradually. My current lease expires in April. I am paying 8K now. I hope I can get something for 6K when I move.
offered to us by a common friend and that the new villa is under construction we deal with the owner... she said that she has put it advertisement a few days after...
hey donald!!!!
could u pls tell how did u get a 3 bd flat for such a low price?which real estate helped u?ur info will b appreciated.i am planning to shift with my family 4 a 3 bdrm flat.thanx.
believe, because just recently we got a new flat 3 room with kitchen, bathroom and sitting plus extra garden and parking for a price of 6T only... and mind you it is a very good place... though it is not fully furnished but its lovely... i guess when people start to demand low price or when more are shifting from one place to another it will definitely be low.
No, logic does not apply to any prices in Doha.
The law of supply and demand hasn't been ratified yet by the government.
:)
