Ripped off in Doha?

Recently my wife went into Boots and was guided to a shelf by an assistant selling my favourite perfume at 100Qr a bottle(price was on the shelf and the assistant said the price was 100QR). My wife immediately grabbed a couple of bottles but when we got tp the check out the price increased by 50QR a bottle, so we didn't buy it(plus a new sign magically appeared on the shelf saying 150QR where there definitely hadn't been one before).

My question is:- has anyone else had this experience in Boots or anywhere else in Doha?

doha is a rip off, period, and sure, they will have a go at fleecing you.
