Too Many Students, Not Enough Schools
By jemina_legaspi •
With Qatar's booming population of 2.2 million, there is now a greater demand of private schools for children. Many parents in Qatar – both locals and expats – have hard times in enrolling their children due to the lack of spaces in private schools. However, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani pledged to build 85 new schools by 2016 to accommodate more children in Qatar.
This video, which was created by journalism students in Northwestern University Qatar, talks more about this problem that many parents face.

How could anyone have ever predicted that by rapidly increasing the number of expat workers in Qatar, that there would also need to be a commensurate rise in the number of school places...
Yeah, the country is not ready for this many people to live in it. Although one would fear it would end up like Dubai if it was over done..
