two tickets for same traffic violation??

Hey Guys!

Yesterday i parked my car at Grand Hamad street("No Parking area" -i see a lot of cars parked here every day!!), for which i got a ticket of 300 QR and 3 black points at around 7 pm. When i checked the website today, there is another ticket for the same reason at 5 pm.. Is there any chance to convince the guy in traffic dept so that he can charge only for one ticket??

Any idea?

In case if somebody is interested, Alhamdulillah, i had to pay only for one ticket after i spoke to the Captain..

MaveriCk, There are no stickers now a days.

OP should have parked his car for long time and one Policeman charged him at 3:00pm and another one charged him at 5:00pm.

Yes i parked there for a longer time..

I better visit Madina Khalifa branch. InshaAllah he will consider my case..

i got for the same but for Speeding from a hidden radar, time and place everything shows the same but a difference of 2 mins, i aint driving a ferrari to do a round trip on C ring road in 2 mins !!

i guess the only option is to go Madinat khalifa and speak to the Captain and explain to him the case .. but as other users mentioned, you might have been there for a long time... but if a cop sees a fresh sticker for no parking he would not give you another one not atleast the same day :S
