@ FlyingAce: not possible... i understand 1 liter of gasoline for 100 KM... but for water... not possible... Even with some extra help from energy cells, solar power and wind power (wind resistance while car is moving can be used to produce SOME electricity...)
According to the currently accepted laws of physics, there is no way to extract chemical energy from water alone. Most proposed water fuelled cars rely on some form of electrolysis to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen and then recombine them to release energy; however, because the energy required to separate the elements will always be at least as great as the energy released, this cannot be used to produce net energy
I guess his very late on this. A Philippine engineer already had this same concept, but the government didn't support him so he just signed up with foreign investors.
if the car works it will probably end up with a HUGE price and maybe 10 people will actually buy it. Welcome to 2012... the year where companies rule the world...

A Special Program was Aired yesterday on Pakistani Channel regarding the Water Car....
The claim of Engr. Waqar is "Car can travel 2500 km with 1 liter of Distilled water Water"...
... unless you can add "free" energy, t_com, through solar cells, for example.

Drink beer save water.
Electric cars, based on fuel-cell technology would be better: they produce clear drinking water!
If they build engines running on water, water will become more expensive than fuel. What will we drink?
True it was invented long time back but the government never supports the good things at first...

The water engine invented in 1980 (32 years ago) by Romanian engineer Mihai Rusetel:

Waqar Ahmad ,, We appreciate your efforts , Good Luck !!
...more research needed on feasibility of mass production.
I finished reading Gulf Times just now ,,,
Congrats !!
