what is the duty time in qatar for construction field engineers? and 8hr or 10 hr? please advise.

The Rule is : your salary is based on 8 hours daily,... any extra hours you work maybe calculated for you as overtime or as a bonus if your manager likes you !

but what actually goes on in most companies, you do what it takes, with a minimum of 8 hours :D & dont expect a reward !

dear friend, usually engineers work 8 hrs plus 2 hrs overtime, thus there work 10 hrs, these 2 overtime hours r named overtime but u r forced to work, thus its all 10 working hours a day.

For construction field no duty time --- some time 24 hrs and sometime hrs

there is no specific time for engineers as long there is project ur on duty....

dunno about qatar

In dubai it is even 12 hours.

Hours increases as salary decreases.

So better check before joining.

For construction field engineers there is no fix timming , employee here use to go early in morning & comes very late, all depend on job criteria & Project Sites.
