For those of you who are working, when u started your new job, what documents did the HR department ask you to provide for your personal files?

Thanks :)

The usual stuff like a copy of your passport, certificates from uni/college, references an NOC (if you're already working here in Qatar)etc...makes a big difference if you are sponsored by them or not.

Good luck with the new job.

It really depends on what visa you're holding. If your company will be your sponsor, you'll have to surrender a passport copy or sometimes they'll require you to hand over your passport... since I'm with my parents all they required from me was a CV.

Well, just get your passport copy ready, CV, certificates.. etc. Those are the basic documents you'll need.

New job as in fresh from Uni or just a new job?

You might want to gather up your CV, references, certificates (if any), diploma, well I think that's some of it although I'm not exactly which documents they require because it depends on the employer.

Sometimes they tend to be really strict in acquiring documents about your former work experience and your skills. So, on this one you might want to put together general docs like what I said above.

Hope this helps.
