Cabin crew training is done in dubai at emirates aviation college, and you can't go on leave before 6 months you will have to finish your probation period first and then only you will get a leave. tickets are free and you will also get id 90 is unlimited, which is 10 percent on emirates....
Honey, don't plan on going home much (if at all) the first six months, or even the first year or so until you accrue vacation. If you are the type of gal who gets homesick, think twice about this job. If, for instance, you go home on a non-rev, space available ticket and can't get back on time, you are so FIRED. But if it's the dream of a life time and you're young and it's an adventure, welcome to Doha.
Congratulations. Based on my knowledge you will be entitled to you ticket subsidy after your 6 months probationary period. Your take home pay wouldn't be much while you are in training. It will shoot up once you are already flying specially if you have layovers because you will have layover allowances. Allowances for layovers depends on the cost of living of your destination city.
During your 6 month probation, you can go home if you want during your long days-off and you need to be back in your accommodation at least 12 hours before your next flight although I'm not really sure of that. Maybe 1 whole day or so. You would need to pay the price of the ticket as it is though.
You will have a training in Dubai for emergency water landing however that would only be for 1 day. You won't be able to get off the airport.

Qatar Airways is based in Doha, Qatar. I can't see why they would send you to Dubai (U.A.E.) for training.
