Advice on getting my iMac to Qatar

Hi All,
Moving out to Qatar in next week and want to bring my iMac out with me. I've already tried double checking with Qatar Airways and the box packaging exceeds their size allowance for checked baggage. Does anyone else have advice/experience bringing a large computer out with them?

I've got an allowance to cover various moving costs so thinking of using DHL/UPS though not sure if I would get stung by any customs.

I actually brought my Imac 27'' in the original box with qatar airways without any problem ....
