Advice on what to pack?

Does anyone have advice on what to pack for moving to Qatar?  I am aware of the heat issue (it is currently 104 F where I am) so I dont mean clothes.  Is there anything you wish you brought but left behind?  Or anything you brought but wish you hadn't?  Thank you!

Of course sunblock, shades for the eyes, well might not be so important however, it will be good to bring English- Arabic dictionary.  Note, in the month of September onwards the weather will start to drop down.

1- Candies, biscuits, soups of ur own choice becoz here they must be very very expensive because of import duties etc.2- Initial two months quota of your toiletries3- Your own towels4- Your loving cds, fotos and dvds5- Your own clothes6- Your own sleepers two pairs and shoes too7- If u use glasses on eyes than make one pair extra because they are very high priced too8- 6 sets of all of your valuable documents/certificates etc.9- Spices u like a lot to be in ur food10- Any special potpouri or room freshner of your own preference.11- A big pack of cartoon shaped lolipops and flower or animals shaped baloons so that if u mingle with families than u will have something special to give to their kids..  Happy journey
