UDC have charged the developers extortionate amounts (4xWest Bay rates) and though it's understandable to try and pass it on to the tenants, if you do so, you won't rent. Or maybe you will for a year, but they will leave. Either drop the rent to include the QC, or suck it up and pay it yourself.The majority of apartments on The Pearl have turned out to be horrific investments, so you will have to suck it up or take no income. Sabban were very clever, far more savvy than the other developers, taking 50% upto completion....making it almost impossible NOT to complete. Bravo, the others are annoyed they didn't follow suit! Do many defaulters! However, include the AC and be done with it or you won't rent.
