Regarding going to pubs & discos etc, I am afraid I family won't allow me to do that. I stay in a joint family with dad, mom and 2 younger brothers with their wives and kids. But once I move to Canada, I sure will kick back and party all night..

Thanks for the suggestions but I have already applied for Canadian immigration this year in March but unfortunately now the process is not that fast. It could take approximately something between 24 to 36 months to get the immigration visa so it means I am stuck for the next two to three years.

My dear it is not that I don't socialize but I just feel that Qatar does not have as many Pakistanis as Indians. I mean there are Pakistani cab drivers, construction site workers, Tandoor roti makers etc but what I am trying to say is that there aren't many Professional Pakistanis here. For instance in my company QP, there are so many Indian engineers but hardly any Pakis. I guess most Pakistanis prefer to go live & work in the west rather than the middle east. In the last 10 years so many Pakistani families staying in Qatar have now moved to Canada. I am not complaining or anything, just making a general statement. No offence meant.

That means you are looking only at the Cultural Centers for hanging out where you find some lame sometimes real good, but most of the times boring events taking place...

And who the hell told you, Paki buggers dont socialize here...hell no they socialize freaking lot girl...

Hmmmmm, girl, looks like you just arent hanging out is it now...I remember seeing 32 weeks in this damn site where I have made some real good Paki buggers as friends...LOL...but never ever seen you, do you SOCIALIZE is the first question...

Hey brother welcome to Qatar. I am afraid there aren't many Pakistanis here and it is very difficult to find the right sort of Pakis that is why all my friends are from India and that is why I am not married yet bcoz all my life here in Qatar, I could not find a decent Pakistani man to marry.. There are many Indians here and innumerable Indian cultural centers like ICC, ICRC, MCC and several others and each one caters to one particular state or caste from India but unfortunately Pakistanis are not very social here.
