Are apartments for rent carpeted?

When we rent a home in Doha, should we expect the floors to be carpeted or will they be hard floors ie Tiles or wooden? I was wondering what the norm was.

The vast majority of places have ceramic tiles. But fully furnished properties do often have area rugs/carpets in each room.
No most appartments are not carpeted unless you ask the landlord specifically.. Normally just Ceramic Tiles..
I don't think apartments are carpeted. Not even the fully-furnished or the serviced apartments. You still have to buy. However, i think you can ask the proprietor to place a carpet but still you have to pay for it.
